Weekly Fishing Report - April 5 2010 - Limits of perch are being caught of the Lorain lighthouse. Walleye are being caught off Sherod Park in 13 to 16 ft of water. Limits reported by the few locals out trying the jig bite.

5/23/2010-Walleye, BIG Walleye are coming in West of the Vermilion River from 22-35 foot of water.  Dipsey's and spoons, Reef Runners and Double Willows harnesses are all taking fish.  North of Beaver Creek from 37-42 foot of water is also producing huge bags of fish.  Congrats to the Up The River Gang on there 1st Place finish in the Fish Huron Tournament.

6/1/2010-Walleye from Cranberry to Lorain were under assault over the past weekend.  HUGE boxes of fish were taken off Lorain by some, nothing by other's.  Big fish were in the mud all weekend in front of Beaver Creek.  With the bug hatch and full moon however, our customary class of fish arrived and started to feed high in the water column.  1-2 oz inlines 10-40 back and 20 jets forty back started to produce well.  Early limits were in order for those targeting the high feeding fish, including those casting and drifting on a splash count.  Southern tip of the Sandbar and the Vermilion dumping grounds are good areas to target looking ahead.
